Dr. Kristin Johnston received her Doctorate of Audiology and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Audiology from the University of Florida. She has a great interest in improving the quality of life for people with hearing difficulties. As such, her dissertation centered on improving music listening for people who use hearing aids. Dr. Johnston has published research with her colleagues in the International Journal of Audiology and has taught and facilitated courses for the University of Florida programs in Audiology for over ten years. Before joining Clear Sound Audiology, Dr. Johnston worked in a variety of clinical settings, including pediatric otolaryngology, hospital clinics, and providing hearing services for Veterans. She currently facilitates our Thrive Workshop to empower and equip attendees to overcome the challenges of hearing in every-day real-life situations.
Dr. Johnston uses her training as well as her own personal experiences as an individual with hearing challenges since birth to bring hope and helpful solutions to others with hearing difficulties. She and her husband have four children, ages 2 to 10, whom she has the joy and honor of teaching at home.Contact Me
